My name is Tim Daniel. I am a Santa Fe attorney but I practice all over northern New Mexico. My training in the law is traditional. However, my approach to problem solving is multi-disciplinary. I use a holistic model to meet my client's needs. That means that I treat each person as an individual. I don’t just probe for legal issues; I take the time to discover the core values and priorities of the people I serve. I am usually able to offer several alternative solutions. Using this model, a satisfactory outcome is much more likely. |

My law practice is focused on the needs of individuals and families facing difficult choices. Loan modification, foreclosure, repossession, credit card debt, bankruptcy including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13, liquidation and reorganization are all part of the work that I do every day. Whenever possible, I provide legal representation and advice for standard legal issues at a predetermined flat fee. I believe that legal fees should be a budgetable item for individuals and families. Flat fees are cost-effective and provide you with certainty about legal expenses. They are available on many matters but are not appropriate for others. I charge an hourly rate on a retainer basis if the time and effort in resolving a legal issue is unpredictable. In my practice, open-ended types of matters requiring hourly billing are the exception rather than the rule. I offer a free initial consultation.
